Position: Clinical Pharmacist

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a prestigious private hospital in North Wales. This is a ward-based role that will involve working across medical and surgical wards. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients across medical and surgical wards
Work closely with medical and nursing teams to review and optimize medication use
Ensure that medicines are prescribed, dispensed, and administered safely
Offer advice on drug interactions, side effects, and other pharmaceutical issues
Conduct medication reviews and participate in ward rounds
Keep up-to-date with current pharmacy practices and hospital procedures
Requirements:
Qualified Clinical Pharmacist with experience in hospital settings
Previous experience working on medical and surgical wards is essential
Strong clinical knowledge and an ability to communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams
Valid GPhC registration
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday
9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a 30-minute break each day
No weekend or on-call work
Pay:
£27-37 per hour (via umbrella company)
