We are currently recruiting for a kitchen porter to work within a large educational institution in the heart of the Leeds city centre. As a kitchen porter, you will assist our team of chefs in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen. We are looking for someone who works great in a team and can communicate well.

Main duties:
* Cleaning heavy duty kitchen equipment including ovens and fryers
* Clearing tables in the catering seating area
* Cleaning crockery and cutlery and ensuring food preparation sites are clean and ready
* Ensuring the organisational Food Safety Policy, Personal Hygiene Policy, Health & Safety Policy and COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations are always adhered to.
* Operating the dishwasher and ensuring it is working correctly
* Checking all items are clean and emptied after washing, and storage items in the appropriate area
The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and may have experience within the catering industry. However, if you are reliable, hardworking and possess exceptional timekeeping skills then please apply using the online method available.
