Workshop Supervisor – Offshore Cranes
Brilliant opportunity for a Cranes Workshop Supervisor to work on a permanent 4-on, 4-off rotation!
Human Engineering is currently representing a reputable client seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor for their offshore crane maintenance and repair facility in Africa. The workshop specialises in servicing and maintaining knuckle-boom and lattice-boom cranes used in offshore operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair of offshore cranes.
* Lead and supervise a team of technicians and engineers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely availability of parts and materials for repairs.
* Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment status.
* Conduct troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs as required.
Requirements:
* Fluent in both French and English (written and spoken).
* Previous experience working with offshore knuckle-boom and lattice-boom cranes is essential.
* Valid offshore tickets (BOSIET, HUET, etc.).
* Up-to-date offshore medical certificate.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams in a workshop environment.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
