Salary Details: Up to £26,000 with performance based bonus.

Steel Cactus Recruitment are recruiting for a Telephone Collections Agent for our client based in Sheffield S6.

This is a permanent opportunity working for a well-established business that works alongside some of the largest retail, banking and commercial businesses in the UK to help recover overdue debts and arrange payment solutions.

Job Type: Permanent
Salary: up to £26,000 + monthly bonus based on your performance
Shift Pattern: 37.5hours a week Monday to Friday shift times between 8am to 8pm.

Duties will include:

• Managing inbound and outbound telephone calls from businesses and individuals to recover outstanding debts.
• Handling difficult conversations remaining sensitive and professional at all times.
• Keeping systems up to date and accurate at all times as per the conversations had.
• Following strict processes and guidelines in regards to debt collection.
• Striving to achieve targets individual and as a team.
The ideal candidate:
• Previous experience of working in a call centre or credit control type role is essential.
• Great communication skills both verbally and written.
• The ability to strive towards targets – earning more money based on your achievements.
• Strong IT skills with the ability to quickly pick up new systems and databases.
• Strong problem solving abilities.
