The responsibilities of a Retail Merchandiser are diverse and integral to the store’s success. Key tasks include tracking inventory levels meticulously, reporting any shortages, and submitting detailed inventory reports. Merchandisers will also be responsible for setting up engaging product displays, organizing shelves, and removing outdated or irrelevant items to keep the shopping experience fresh and appealing. Additionally, monitoring product sales performance, setting competitive prices, and developing effective marketing strategies are vital components of this role. A successful candidate will possess a mix of skills that include general retail knowledge, business acumen, research analysis, and a solid understanding of merchandising concepts.
The working hours for this position are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, and it offers ongoing employment with the potential for a permanent contract.
