Architectural Technician - Planning

My Clients are an award-winning architectural practice in Hampshire, looking for a talented Architectural Technician to join their growing Planning team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional who is experienced within Masterplanning, Design layouts and Technical planning documents for residential and mixed-use projects.

If you have around 3 years of experience within the UK residential sector, particularly in delivering projects for developer clients and national housebuilders, this could be the perfect next step in your career. You will work on a variety of exciting, high-profile projects for established clientele, giving you the chance to expand your skill set and knowledge within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret client briefs and produce detailed masterplans and technical documents.
Ensure compliance with current building regulations and legislation.
Work closely with the team to deliver residential, mixed-use developments and Urban design projects from concept through to completion.
Collaborate with developers and consultants, ensuring high technical standards are maintained across projects.Essential Requirements:

3+ years' experience in residential or mixed-use projects with experience for developer clients or national housebuilders.
Strong technical understanding of building regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit - Essential
Knowledge of M4 (CAT 2 & 3) and NDSS regulations.
Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
A genuine desire for career progression and commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).What's on Offer:
