Job Title: Fixed Asset Accountant

Location: Stoke

Salary: up to £50,000

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about process improvement and development, and who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Consolidate the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a regular basis to assist with the year-end process and reconciliation.
Provide support to budgeting and forecasting functions.
Build strong relationships with various departments on capital-related matters.
Accurately process and monitor asset additions and disposals.
Mitigate risks by ensuring comprehensive documentation for audit sampling.
Handle ad hoc requests proactively.What We're Looking For:

Fully qualified in CIMA or ACCA or equivalent.
Demonstrated experience in fixed asset transactions and controls.
Solid understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
Advanced Excel proficiency and strong knowledge of finance system management.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Proactive, positive, and detail-oriented approach to work.
Proof of eligibility to work in the UK will be required from the first day of employment.This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid working arrangement, enabling you to work both from home and in the office.
