Job Description

We're looking for a Supported Housing Manager to lead a dedicated team and deliver exceptional services to individuals transitioning from homelessness into accommodation.
Supported Housing Manager - Temporary Contract
Location: Leicester
Contract: Temporary - 3 Months (Potential for Extension)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate: £30-£33 per hour (via umbrella)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Supported Housing Manager Role:
Acting on behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced Supported Housing Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of accommodation-based services. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of care for tenants with complex needs while supporting and inspiring your team.
Key Responsibilities of the Supported Housing Manager:

Managing a team of 6 Support Workers, 2 Concierge staff, 1 Multi-Trade Operative, and 2 Cleaners.
Providing guidance and support to the team, fostering a trauma-informed approach to care.
Ensuring effective tenancy management, including safeguarding and supporting tenants with substance misuse challenges.
Maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all residents.
Overseeing safeguarding concerns, ensuring all procedures are followed, and managing risk effectively.
Developing and delivering high-quality support plans tailored to individual tenant needs.What We're Looking For:

Proven experience as a Supported Housing Manager or in a similar role within accommodation-based services.
A strong understanding of trauma-informed care and experience working with vulnerable populations.
Knowledge of safeguarding, tenancy management, and support for individuals with drug and alcohol misuse issues.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.Why Apply?
