Our Corby based client, a dynamic and fast-growing organisation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee all aspects of project management, from planning and initiation to execution and completion. This role is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven individual to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Role Overview
The Project Manager will coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring seamless project delivery. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and a proactive approach to managing risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Initiation
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with organisational goals and stakeholder requirements.
Create detailed project plans and timelines to monitor progress.
Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities, implementing strategies for effective project management.
Build and lead project teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation.Project Execution and Monitoring
Direct and oversee project execution, adhering to approved plans.
Monitor performance, address challenges, and implement necessary adjustments to maintain project momentum.
Conduct regular meetings to track milestones and communicate updates.Budgeting and Cost Control
Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.Stakeholder Communication
Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders to manage expectations and deliver updates.
Prepare and present project reports and proposals to leadership.
Serve as the primary contact for project-related inquiries.Risk and Quality Management
Proactively identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Uphold quality assurance processes to deliver projects that meet or exceed expectations.Project Closure
Finalise project deliverables and ensure all objectives are achieved.
Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
Prepare and deliver comprehensive final reports.About you ...
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and education:-
Education and Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certifications are preferred.Experience
3-7 years of project management experience, ideally within Material Handling or related industries.
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver complex projects successfully.Core Skills
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Exceptional organisational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Jira).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Adept at balancing competing priorities and managing multiple stakeholders.
