Job Description

Growing Manager Required for a Leading Fresh Produce Grower

Are you passionate about the fresh produce and agricultural sectors? Do you thrive on seeing high-quality, sustainable crops flourish under your care? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to review.

One of the UK’s leading growers of premium herbs, supplying fresh, frozen, and dried products to key retailers, is looking for a Growing Manager to join their dynamic and innovative team based in the Eastern regions of the UK.

The Role

As Growing Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the operation, partnering with the key Director to oversee all aspects of the yearly growing cycle. Your responsibilities will include:

* Managing the growing process from sowing to harvesting.

* Crop planning and yield optimization.

* Handling operational administration including budgeting, procurement, health & safety and recruitment.

* Driving innovation and sustainability in herb production.

This is a hands-on role with significant potential for career progression as the company expands into new UK and international markets.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an individual with:

* A passion for the fresh produce, agricultural, or glasshouse growing sectors.

* Either a defined growing background in herbs or fresh produce, OR ambition and transferable skills from other agricultural or horticultural sectors.

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

* A collaborative approach and a drive to innovate and succeed.

Our client is open to candidates at all experience levels, from those ready to step into a management role to individuals eager to grow into the position with training and mentorship.

Why Join Them?

This is a rare opportunity to work with a leading grower known for quality and sustainability. You’ll have the chance to shape the future of the operation while developing your skills and advancing your career in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.

On offer is a competitive salary package with significant growth potential
