Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and manage the operational and logistics teams at our client’s Bolton site. This role focuses on maximising efficiencies, driving process improvements, and ensuring alignment with broader UK supply chain strategies.

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee key logistics functions, including stock control, production planning, and the performance of the local team. Collaborating with the UK Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate will be instrumental in aligning processes, reporting on KPIs, and championing continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

* Leading and developing a high-performing logistics team.

* Promoting a culture of Health & Safety and continuous improvement.

* Acting as the subject matter expert (SME) for systems and processes.

* Managing plant stock and ensuring accurate inventory records using SAP.

* Supporting system upgrades, process mapping, and training.

* Analysing data to identify improvement strategies and optimise performance.

Skills & Experience:
To excel as a Supply Chain Manager, you will need:

* A relevant degree or equivalent experience.

* Leadership experience within supply chain operations.

* Strong SAP (or similar ERP) system knowledge.

* Expertise in root cause analysis and problem-solving.

* Desirable: Six Sigma experience.
