As Safety & Compliance Manager, you'll lead on implementing and managing safety systems, ensuring compliance with environmental permits, and embedding a proactive culture of safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing safety systems, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
Ensuring environmental compliance, including interpreting emissions data and auditing procedures.
Working closely with the Plant Manager and site team to maintain high productivity while prioritizing safety and environmental compliance.
Driving best practices and supporting a culture of health and safety excellence across the site.About You:
You'll bring a blend of expertise, leadership, and technical knowledge to this role. The ideal candidate will have:

Experience in highly regulated environments-knowledge of the energy from waste or power industries is advantageous.
Leadership skills to develop and embed a safety-first culture in a complex workplace.
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards (OHSAS18001, ISO14001, ISO50001).
NEBOSH or equivalent safety qualifications.
Familiarity with Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
