Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients in the Gainsborough area.

Our client is a leading manufacturer in the FMCG industry, supplying their products to multiple manufacturers. By building a great reputation not only through their products but going above and beyond the ethical standard this company stands out from the rest. Our client is looking to expand their team to meet production demands.

The Role:

As part of the team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring plant availability and production efficiency through proactive maintenance and swift resolution of technical challenges. Responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

* Perform planned preventive and reactive maintenance on state-of-the-art machinery.

* Uphold health and safety standards, conducting risk assessments and implementing effective controls.

* Troubleshoot equipment issues, minimize downtime, and contribute to improvement projects.

* Maintain detailed records, including PM sheets and system logs, to support seamless operations.

The Candidate:

* A strong engineering background (HNC, City & Guilds, or time-served apprenticeship)

* Proven experience in maintenance within a manufacturing setting, preferably in food production.

* Electrically biased with exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

* A flexible approach and a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.

* Familiarity with SAP systems (desirable but not essential)

Salary/Benefits

* Up to £47,945, including shift allowance.

* Matched pension contributions up to 10%.

* Life assurance at 6x your salary.

* 25 days of leave plus shutdown on Christmas, Boxing, and New Year’s Day.

* Overtime paid at a fixed rate of 1.35x.

* 4-on, 4-off shifts (6 AM–6 PM, rotating between days and nights).
