About the Role

As a Software Team Leader, you will initially play a hands-on role in analysing requirements and working with high-level languages such as Java, C#, and C++ in an Android environment. You will lead a team working on software that powers PCR machines and laboratory equipment, interfacing with hospital IT systems, printers, analysers, and bare-metal devices.

Your role will involve:

Analysing requirements from day one and translating them into work packages.
Leading and mentoring the team to build efficiency using tools like Jira and best work practices.
Balancing leadership (75%) with hands-on coding and architecture work (25%) as needed.
Engaging in Android development activities and contributing to the design and implementation of interfaces.About You

To succeed as a Software Team Leader, you should bring:

5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Java, C#, or C++, with hands-on experience in an Android development environment.
Familiarity with medical device standards (e.g., IEC 62304), or experience in automotive or functional safety environments (desirable but not essential).
Strong analytical skills to break down requirements and architect effective solutions.The Opportunity
