Help Desk Operative - Leading FM Contractor
Location: Borehamwood (Critical Site)
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent/ Full time

Are you a highly organised and proactive individual with a passion for delivering excellent service? Join our dynamic team as a Help Desk Operative, supporting a critical site for a leading facilities management (FM) contractor in Borehamwood.

About the Role:

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the helpdesk operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of the CAFM system, and maintaining exceptional service standards for both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

CAFM System Management:
Serve as the key user on-site, maintaining records for Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), reactive tasks, and reporting.

Call/Email Handling:
Respond promptly to calls and emails, ensuring professional and efficient communication.

Reactive Task Coordination:
Assign the correct priority and engineer to reactive requests and ensure seamless communication throughout the job lifecycle. Aim for resolution over the phone whenever possible.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the Lead Engineer and Operations Manager to review performance and maintain service quality.

Subcontractor Management:
Evaluate subcontractor performance and provide feedback via appropriate systems, with support from Contract Support.

Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement innovations to enhance contract performance and exceed client expectations.

What We're Looking For:

Experience working with CAFM systems in a facilities management environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
Ability to liaise effectively with teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
