Multi Trader - Plumber in Basingstoke - CV-Library

My client is a well-established contractor specialising in maintaining social housing properties. We are seeking a versatile and experienced Multi-Trade Plumber to join our team. This temp-to-perm position involves carrying out plumbing repairs, maintenance, and installations, as well as completing other general building works as required. The role requires a proactive and professional individual capable of delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plumbing Repairs & Maintenance: Address reactive repairs, such as fixing leaks, clearing blockages, replacing taps, and repairing pipework.
Installations: Undertake installations of sanitary ware, kitchen sinks, radiators, and other plumbing fixtures.
Multi-Trade Work: Perform additional tasks such as basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering, and minor decorating to complete repair jobs comprehensively.
Compliance: Ensure all plumbing and multi-trade work meets relevant standards and regulations.
Documentation: Accurately record completed tasks and provide relevant updates to the office team.
Customer Service: Deliver professional and courteous service to tenants, addressing their concerns promptly and respectfully.
Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other tradespeople and contractors to meet property maintenance needs.
Health & Safety: Adhere to company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.Requirements

Proven experience as a plumber, ideally within social housing or domestic environments.
Basic multi-trade skills, such as carpentry, tiling, and patch plastering.
NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing or a related trade qualification.
Full UK Driving License (essential for travel between sites).
Ability to work independently, managing time and tasks effectively.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience working in occupied properties and providing excellent customer service.
