The Role
As their Service Manager, you’ll lead their children’s residential and domiciliary services, ensuring every young person in their care receives outstanding support. With their state-of-the-art facilities and a dedicated team. This is more than a job – it’s an opportunity to shape lives.
What you’ll be doing:
* Oversee the daily operations of the Children’s Home bungalows, ensuring that care services meet all required standards set by OFSTED.
* Act as the Registered Manager and Safeguarding Lead for designated bungalows, ensuring the highest standards of safety, well-being, and care for children and young people.
* Lead and manage the operational delivery team, providing clear direction, supervision, and professional development to ensure high performance and excellent care.
* Manage and optimise operational systems, resources, and Colleagues to maintain compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
* Ensure the effective implementation of care plans and safeguarding protocols, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the individual needs of children and young people.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential:
* Proven experience in managing residential services, ideally within children or specialist care settings.
* A comprehensive understanding of OFSTED and standards for residential care.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and develop a team.
* Experience in acting as a Registered Manager and/or Safeguarding Lead is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to balance operational needs and regulatory compliance.
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care (Level 5 or equivalent).
