Laboratory Technician in Wincobank - CV-Library

A fantastic contract opportunity is available for a candidate to join a thriving testing laboratory in the Sheffield area.

We are looking to recruit a lab technician initially on a 2 month contract to join an established team.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Follow the procedures set out with the Quality Management System
• Adhere to the Health and Safety rules in the laboratory e.g. wearing PPE
• Preparation of inoculated and sterile devices
• Perform supporting tasks e.g. cleaning, calibrations, daily checks, sample reception, media preparation, stock orders
• Maintain a tidy and clean workplace at all times
• Ensure any delays in reporting results are communicated
• Raise any concerns about the Quality Management System to the Laboratory Manager

Hours of work:

37.5 hours per week. 9-5pm, Saturday to Wednesday.

Pay Rate:

£11.50 per hour
