This is a terrific opportunity for an experienced Building Surveyor, to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary, independent firm Regulated by the RICS and a team of professional Construction Consultants.

BUILDING SURVEYOR

LOCATION: Based near Faversham, Sittingbourne, Kent. You may be searching for Building Surveyor jobs in Kent, Sittingbourne, Faversham, Maidstone, Chatham, Gillingham, Canterbury, Ashford. Driving licence required.

SALARY: up to £50K plus benefits, electric car scheme, pension, opportunities to complete your RICS/ APC, profit related bonus scheme, team building days, private medical insurance, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and your birthday off!

HOURS: Permanent, full time, Monday- Friday. Flexible working.

As a professional Building Surveyor, you will be part of a friendly team, providing a knowledgeable building surveying consultancy service, delivering high-end new build and refurbishment projects, such as Building Contractors, Local Authorities, Healthcare, Education, Residential, Heritage/ Conservation and Commercial Sectors across Kent.

As Building Surveyor, your day to day duties may include:

*Carrying out feasibility studies.

*Providing commercial property professional services – dilapidations.

*Carrying out project design and specification writing (NBS).

*Preparing costings, programmes for completion.

*Compiling specification of works.

*Undertaking measured building surveys and site inspections.

*Preparing tender documentation and contract administration.

*Advising on appointing contractors, designers and procurement.

*Dealing with planning applications, property legislation and building regulations.

*Ensuring projects are completed on budget and to schedule.

*Looking for ways to make buildings sustainable.

*Preparing insurance assessments and claims.

You will be a Building Surveyor with a professional Surveying / Building / Construction qualification and relevant experience in a Building Surveying environment. You will have strong communication and time management skills, sound building Construction Surveying knowledge and good attention to detail and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Your current/previous jobs may include Commercial Building Surveyor, Analyst Building Surveyor, Building Surveying Consultant, Chartered Building Surveyor, Surveying Technician, Chartered Surveyor, Commercial Surveyor, Construction Building Surveyor, Surveying Project Manager, Lead Surveying Consultant or similar.
