Quality Auditor
Location: Sandwich, Kent
Type: Permanent

Shifts: 4 on / 4 off 7:00 AM to 6:15 PM

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join a team as a Quality Auditor to join a dynamic company that values quality and excellence in everything they do.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the site in the production department, ensuring compliance with customer and BRCGS standards, and conducting daily quality checks. The Quality Auditor will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring adherence to all procedures and policies within the Food Safety and Quality Manual.
Responsibilities:
Support the production department in conforming to customer and BRCGS standards
Handle daily quality checks and inspections, including GMP, glass, wood, and other physical audits
Ensure compliance with BRCGS and Retailer Standards
Investigate complaints and gather technical data
Conduct daily inspections of temperature and weighing equipment
Ensure all finished products are produced, packed, and labelled per customer requirements
Monitor CCPs, traceability systems, and process control parameters
Coordinate microbiological testing of products and environment
Maintain records for shelf-life, customer testing, and laboratory testing
Develop and maintain systems for monitoring input and packaging material intake
Lead investigations and root cause analysis for non-conformance's and customer complaints
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
Implement procedures and work instructions within Quality Management Systems
Produce documents and reports to support communication and decision-making
Experience within a similar role in food production is desirable
Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Experience in implementing procedures within Quality Management Systems
IT literate with the ability to produce documents and reports
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of BRCGS and Retailer Standards
Experience in food production is a plus
