CIVIL ENGINEERING QUALIFIED (HNC OR ABOVE) JUNIOR CIVIL ENGINEER REQUIRED TO SURVEY AND REPORT AT AN OPEN CAST QUARRY IN THE EAST MIDLANDS
TITLE: Junior Civil Engineer – Quarry / Mining Site
SALARY: £30-35K DOE, 25 days + BH, EV Car Scheme, Pension, Benefits
HOURS: (38.5 hrs) Mon – Fri. Possible flexibility for a 4-day week with either all hours worked in 4 days, or reduced hours with a Pro Rata salary
LOCATION: Newark
ROLE: Junior Civil Engineer – Quarry / Mining Site
Surveying
Establishing survey controls
Reporting
Providing technical advice
Supporting the Deputy Site Manager
EXPERIENCE: Junior Civil Engineer – Quarry / Mining Site
Proficient in the use of modern surveying systems and equipment.
Experience in designing, setting out, and reporting on civil engineering or mining and quarrying projects.
Strong understanding of engineering methodologies and health and safety regulations.
Educated to Degree or HNC level (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
Willingness to engage in training and skill development within the role.
Possession of a full UK driving licence.
Useful additional experience & qualifications:
Experience using LSS/AutoCAD.
Drone licence and experience operating drone.
NEBOSH or IOSH Managing safely qualification.
Quantity Surveying experience.
CSCS Card.
First Aid Training
