Junior Product Test Engineer (€35k-€40k DOE)

Limerick - Onsite

As a junior product test engineer, you will work with the Product Management to understand requirement definitions. You are responsible for defining test plans for new products and features for KVM products. Also maintaining lab to constantly increase efficiency via optimised test plans.

Your roles & responsibilities include:

Be able to manage release of software and work with Product Management to understand requirement definitions.
Configure and manage Linux servers like Red Hat or CentOS.
Proficient experience and understanding of virtual systems (Windows Server 2008/12/16 or VMWare) and be able to configure and manage test PCs for the validation team.
Have a keen eye for problem isolation and fault finding.

The ideal candidate should have/be able to:

Experience with Test management tools like JIRA.
Be able to work in an agile environment.
Experience with networking (routing/DNS/DHCP etc.).
Highly proficient with Python.

Experience Requirements include:

1-3 years of manual testing with relevant technologies.

Nice to haves:

Scripting capabilities using shells, Python etc.
