Job Title: Technical Services Supervisor
Location: Cardiff (covering 2 sites)
Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum

We are working with a leading Facilities Maintenance Company, currently seeking a Technical Services Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations across two sites in Cardiff.

The Role:

In this role you will manage a team of 3 skilled engineers (a mix of electrical and mechanical) and ensure the efficient running of both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience, including working knowledge of lifecycle projects and hard services.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and supervise a team of 3 engineers, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair across both sites.

* Manage all aspects of PPM and reactive works to ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulations.

* Oversee and support lifecycle projects and help drive the continuous improvement of building services systems and equipment.

* Maintain and manage systems and equipment including HVAC, water, fire, medical gasses, and more.

* Act as the main point of contact for engineers on both sites, providing support and technical expertise when needed.

* Manage callouts (1 in 4 rota), with a £100 allowance for each callout and overtime opportunities.

Skills & Experience Required:

* At least 5 years’ experience in facilities management with a strong background in hard services and lifecycle projects.

* Multi-skilled engineer with a qualified discipline (e.g., electrical or mechanical engineering).

* Team working experience with a proven ability to manage and lead a small team.

* Must be able to think clearly and make decisions in high-pressure or emergency situations.

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).

* Experience using a CAFM system for managing maintenance operations.

* Good understanding of building services and HTM legislation.
