Senior Project Manager Required!
Our client specialises in installing all types of mechanical plants for the Water industry across the UK. They offer services including water & wastewater treatment, including design, fabrication, site installation and testing.
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a self-motivated, committed and trusted individual. The successful candidate will take responsibility for delivery of projects following quality procedures that take account of Risk, Safety, Health, Wellbeing, Environment & Quality. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in the Water Industry in a construction and/or engineering environment.
This is a full-time position, working 40.5 hours per week. Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-3pm based in Kilmaurs.

Compliance with Company Health and Safety Policies
Ownership of Client Enquiries as directed by Line Manager.
Ownership of Tendering Processes
Developing Risk Assessments and Method Statements
Developing Safe Systems of Work
Framework Management
Preparing, Planning and Delivering Projects.
Planning, Preparing & Leading Site Resource.
Ensuring Compliance with Client Specification
Procurement of Plant, Material & Resource for Project Deliverables.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building
Site Supervision where necessary
Leadership and Commitment to meeting Company Targets & KPI's
Loyalty and Endeavour to deliver Quality and Service at all timesSenior Project Manager- Requirements:
Experience in the Water Industry and Construction Site Environments
Recognised practical qualifications (HND/Degree/Apprenticeship) and certificates (IOSH, CSCS Card, DOMS/National Water Hygiene etc)
Experience working with materials such as mild steel, stainless steel and ductile iron pipework
A thorough understanding of all relevant H&S regulations and risk assessments.
Be available for travel throughout Scotland and occasionally other parts of the UK.
Possession of relevant and suitable hand tools.
Experience in mechanical plant repair, maintenance & refurbishment, site surveys, problem solving & troubleshooting
Be familiar with pumps and drive motor removal & installations
