Production Technician in Walton - CV-Library

S3 Science are recruiting for a Production Technician to join our client near Milton Keynes, a company that specialises in Veterinary pharmaceuticals and vaccines. As a global provider of veterinary medicine, they are committed to promoting the health and welfare of animals. This is a contract role for 1 year, with the possibility of being extended. You will need to be immediately available.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform manufacturing tasks associated with intermediates (media and antigen) production in compliance with the Production Schedule, GMP requirements, and local regulations

* Prepare, sterilize, stage, and maintain laboratory consumables, mechanical, and laboratory equipment for manufacturing processes

* Operate equipment as per site documentation and manufacturer instructions, ensuring it is fit for purpose and properly maintained, including identifying and reporting equipment needing repair or replacement

* Maintain accurate and concurrent records, including manufacturing directions, log sheets, and batch records, ensuring compliance with GMP standards

* Collaborate with the Lead Technician to implement production plans according to the production schedule, including maintaining and monitoring inventory and participating in cycle counts

* Work effectively within a cleanroom/aseptic environment, ensuring good housekeeping practices and adherence to quality standards

Job Requirements:

* Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment

* Science related degree or similar

* Experience using SAP®

* Able to follow Standard Operating Procedures

* Basic computer skills, using word, excel and outlook
