We're hiring on behalf of a European-headquartered aircraft MRO facility located in Ireland, an EASA/FAA Part 145 operation that specializes in out-of-scope airframe and composite repairs. Role Overview
As a Mechanic, your responsibilities will include:
Reviewing and assessing aircraft components in accordance with technical publications, CMMs, SRM, and AMM.
Testing, repairing, and overhauling aircraft components, including pilot seats, cockpit windows, power supplies, control units, APU exhausts, thrust reverser blankets, ovens, water boilers, and more.
Writing detailed inspection reports for airline customer review.
Demonstrating a solid understanding of mechanical and electromechanical principles.
Performing fault diagnostics down to the component level.
Maintaining a high level of attention to detail in all tasks.
Inspecting and releasing components to service in compliance with airworthiness regulations.
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience holding certifying staff approval and working in compliance with company MOE.
Familiarity with inspecting and releasing parts to service on EASA Form 1.Essential Requirements:
Recognized engineering qualifications.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering (aviation experience is preferred but not required-training will be provided).We also welcome applications from candidates with relevant experience in other industries.
Qualifications
Education: Junior Certificate or equivalent (preferred).
Experience: 2 years in engineering (required)
