Join our Purchasing team as a Stores Assistant!

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Stores Assistant to support our fast-paced warehouse and stock management operations. Key Responsibilities

Assist with monthly stock checks to ensure accuracy
Assist with the loading and offloading of materials, ensuring correct handling and storage procedures.
Help with checking and receiving incoming materials to ensure accuracy and quality.
Assist with maintaining stock rotation in line with the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle to minimize waste and ensure material freshness.
Support the smooth running of the stores by issuing goods according to current processes and ensuring efficient distribution.
Carry out spot checks on store items to ensure stock levels are accurate and materials are well-maintained.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Knowledge of stores processes and stock management.
Experience of using computer systems to book goods out.
Competence using Microsoft Office applications.
Holds a counterbalance forklift truck licence.
Knowledge of H&S and environmental requirements for the handling of all store items
Good communication and team working skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
