Job Description
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and organised Office Administrator/Assistant to join our client's Operations team. As the face of the organisation, you will play a vital role in creating a positive work environment and ensuring smooth daily operations. You will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and support the office, HR, and IT functions. Working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm, paying £13 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Answer calls, greet visitors, and provide exceptional customer service
Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming work space
Coordinate office maintenance and supplier interactions
Prepare meeting rooms and ensure they are always ready for use
Manage office supplies and equipment, placing orders and managing inventory
Create, maintain, and file office documentation to a high standard
Assist in planning and preparing for social events
Arrange travel and accommodation when necessary
Support HR in recruitment activities, including posting job openings and scheduling interviews
Provide basic IT support and troubleshoot hardware and software issues
Coordinate with external IT support for complex technical problems
Ensure office technology, including phones, computers, and printers, are in good working condition
Handle any ad-hoc administrative duties as requiredRequirements:
Proven experience in office administration and customer service
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
