A well-established call systems company is seeking a Technical Product Manager to join the team.
The Role
Our client is looking for a qualified Electrical/Electronic Engineer to fill the role of Assistant Technical Manager for their products and solutions. This position serves as a liaison between the Technical/R&D Manager and the Production, Sales & Marketing, and Operations departments.
The successful candidate will act as the technical manager's proxy and be the main point of contact with production to introduce new products, implement improvements, make changes in build or configuration, and oversee quality assurance.
This diverse role requires extensive electrical engineering knowledge and strong people-management experience.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee the interface between the Technical and Operations Departments to ensure the smooth integration of technical improvements, new products, and programming updates into production.
• Support the Technical Manager with operational assessments of all new software and hardware products as part of the technical sign-off process.
• Develop, deliver, and manage technical documentation and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and assessments to ensure compliance with quality control and assurance standards.
• Provide in-house technical support for Sales, Marketing, second-line Technical Support, Field Engineers, and Production teams.
• Deliver training to enhance technical understanding and introduce new products.
The Candidate
Must hold a minimum of an HND in electronic engineering.
Must have an understanding and hands-on experience with RF technology and radio systems.
Must have a background in production processes.
Able to build and install processes in production.
Experience working in an ISO environment.
A minimum of 2 years as a team leader/supervisor.
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £45,000–£55,000 for candidates who meet all key qualifications and abilities.
