The Role
 
As the Area Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of sales activities across the Oxford area, driving revenue growth and building strong relationships with both existing and new customers. You’ll have the opportunity to represent premium products in the construction industry and deliver solutions that add real value to their clients.
 
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the Oxford area. 
Build and nurture relationships with clients, including contractors, plant hire companies, and construction businesses.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
Provide expert product knowledge, offering tailored recommendations to meet customer needs.
Conduct site visits, demonstrations, and presentations to showcase the benefits of the equipment.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and technical support, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Regularly report on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to management team.  The Candidate 
 
We’re looking to speak to proactive, results-oriented individuals with a strong sales track record selling into the construction or similar industry. 
 
Essential: 

Proven track record in B2B sales. 
Knowledge of the Oxford area. 
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, organised, and capable of managing a territory autonomously.
Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the region. Desirable:

Previous experience selling construction equipment. 
Strong Technical understanding of construction machinery.
