Job Opportunity: Compliance and Health & Safety Lead

Are you a compliance expert with a passion for health, safety, and operational excellence?

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to take the lead in ensuring our organisation meets and exceeds statutory obligations, official standards, and best practices in compliance, safety, and asset management. What You'll Do

Compliance Leadership: Act as the organisation's lead representative for statutory compliance, ensuring adherence to health and safety legislation, landlord and tenant law, and best practices related to assets.
Expert Advice: Provide guidance to senior management on current and emerging health and safety legislation, evaluating options and generating action plans for compliance.
Training and Awareness: Lead on health and safety training, providing information, advice, and fostering a culture of safety.
Auditing and Inspection: Conduct thorough audits and inspections across the portfolio, supporting corrective and preventive measures as needed.
Team Leadership: Oversee the compliance team, managing workloads, monitoring performance, and fostering a collaborative, solutions-focused environment.
Asset Management: Collaborate with teams to review budgets, risk assessments, and documentation to ensure operational and strategic compliance.What We're Looking For

Proven experience in health and safety compliance, ideally within asset or property management sectors.
In-depth knowledge of statutory requirements including Gas Servicing, Legionella, Asbestos, Electrical systems, and other key mechanical services.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide teams to deliver exceptional results.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels.
Practical experience conducting audits, creating reports, and implementing improvement plans.
