Do you need extra work before christmas? We require Kitchen Porters working within the John Lewis Department store in Oxford to assist the busy festive period!

Location: Oxford CIty Centre

Hours: Between 10am - 1900 - Monday to Sunday

Start date: ASAP -

Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour

About the role:

As the Kitchen Porter, your responsibilities will include:

Washing up and clearing all kitchen areas
Operating the dishwasher
Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and safe.
Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations.
Emptying bins, sweeping and mopping floors
Ensuring all equipment is clean and put away correctlyAbout you as the Kitchen Porter:

Good level of physical fitness - not just because you're on your feet all day, but also for unloading occasional deliveries
Ability to work alone with minimal instruction, be self-led and take initiative along with working as part of a larger team
Good time management skills - the kitchen gets busy, so keeping on top of routine tasks whilst being able to deal with ad-hoc extra duties is essential
Ability to communicate well across the team
The ability to remain calm under pressure and follow instruction
