What You'll Do:

As a Housing Officer, you'll take on a vital role, juggling service-user support with property management. Some of your key responsibilities include:

Supporting Service Users:

Welcoming new tenants and guiding them through the induction process.
Conducting regular welfare visits to ensure safety and well-being.
Offering signposting to local amenities, services, and support agencies.
Acting swiftly to address issues like anti-social behavior and absconsions.
Managing Properties:

Conducting monthly inspections and reporting maintenance needs.
Preparing properties for re-occupation or handover.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Coordinating minor repairs and managing inventory.
Collaborating and Responding:

Working closely with your team to maintain high service standards.
Liaising with external agencies to support tenants effectively.
Handling emergencies with a calm and proactive approach.
Staying Agile and Trusted:

Keeping accurate records and ensuring systems are always up-to-date.
Engaging with tenants and stakeholders with professionalism and respect.
