Location: Ashington (base location)

Contract: Full Time

Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Salary: £33,411.00 per annum

About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Property Inspector to join our Repairs Team within our Property Maintenance and Construction Department based at Ashington.

You will be responsible for delivering an efficient and effective technical service to all our domestic, non-domestic and commercial properties so that we meet all our responsive, planned, cyclical maintenance and property management requirements, therefore you will need to have experience of investigating general property defects along with damp remedial works along with condition surveys and providing suitable resolutions and reports.

To be successful in this role you will have a flexible approach and experience of delivering a wide range of property maintenance services within a social housing, target driven environment. We at Bernicia are customer focused so you will have excellent customer service skills as you will need to converse with a wide range of people to provide effective resolutions when problem solving.

You will be required engage with all stakeholders of the service as an Ambassador of Bernicia, promoting and endorsing the positive work that we do across our communities in the Bernicia way. For the technical bit, you will ideally need to have a full trade or professional qualification in a construction related industry together with a relevant health and safety qualification or experience along with Asbestos awareness.
