Account Manager – Glasgow

£40,000 + commission + benefits

My client, a leading company in the water hygiene and Legionella control industry, is looking for a skilled and motivated Account Manager to join their team in Glasgow. Known for delivering top-tier water treatment services and ensuring strict compliance with industry standards, my client is committed to offering customised solutions to meet the unique needs of their diverse client base.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing key client accounts, providing expert advice on water hygiene services and ensuring that clients' water systems are fully compliant with Legionella safety regulations. Your duties will include conducting risk assessments, monitoring systems and overseeing maintenance activities, while ensuring the highest safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, retention and growth.

* Offer expert advice on water hygiene and Legionella risk assessments.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations (such as ACOP L8, HSG 274).

* Conduct site visits to oversee inspections, water sampling and any required remedial works.

* Provide clients with regular reports on service delivery, water safety and any necessary actions.

* Identify and develop new business opportunities in the water hygiene sector.

* Work closely with internal teams to ensure the efficient delivery of services.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in the water hygiene or Legionella control industry.

* In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and Legionella control standards.

* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

* A proactive, solutions-focused approach to client management.

* Full UK driving licence (the role involves visiting client sites).
