Job Description

As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and accurate assembly and testing of new K-Winch products, including wireline winches, masts, and related accessories. This hands-on role involves working with hydraulic systems and utilising various tools in a fast-paced environment.

We are seeking technicians with an eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative team while improving assembly techniques and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assembly & Testing: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and diagrams to assemble mechanical equipment.

* Hydraulic Systems: Manufacture and maintain hydraulic systems, ensuring high cleanliness standards.

* Quality Control: Monitor materials, equipment, and products for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.

* Team Collaboration: Support and guide team members, contributing to a positive and cooperative work environment.

* Efficiency & Improvement: Assist in achieving on-time delivery and contribute to process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.

* Workplace Maintenance: Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to 5S and LEAN principles.

* Health & Safety: Follow all safety policies and procedures, and report any safety concerns immediately.

Skills & Experience Required:

Essential:

* Time-Served Apprenticeship: Practical training in mechanical work.

* NC in a Relevant Subject: Educational background in a technical field.

* Mechanical Experience: Previous experience in a mechanical role.

* Tool Proficiency: Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

* Technical Understanding: Able to read and understand engineering drawings and technical instructions.

Desirable:

* Higher Education: Further studies in a relevant technical subject.

* Assembly & Manufacturing: Experience working in an assembly or manufacturing environment.

* Forklift & Crane Certification: Certification or willingness to undergo training for forklift and overhead crane operation.
