The key responsibilities of this Supply Chain & Purchasing Lead (Derby) role are:

Being the first point of call in your department
Taking ownership of procurement and supply chain projects
Supervising 3 members of staff in role

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Industrial manufacturing experience (automotive, rail, aerospace)
Experience of working within a supply chain function and improving OTIF levels/reduction of stock plans
Training and Development of 2 expeditors and 1 graduate therefore previous managerial/supervisor level experience
Be able to implement but most importantly identify reduction of cost & improvements
Confidence to challenge and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
You should have MRP/ERP experience (keeping up to date and tracking KPI's)Job Offer
