Calling all marketing enthusiasts! Our client, an industry-leading organisation, is seeking a vibrant and dynamic Marketing Assistant to join their team. As the Marketing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the new business department in delivering marketing activities across various touch points in the customer journey. Your main responsibilities will include coordinating the hospitality and events calendar, creating engaging social media content, and sending marketing collateral to existing customers and prospects.

Job title: Marketing & Events Assistant

Location: Ashford, Kent. Your own transport is required for very occasional holiday/cover in Tenterden and Dover.

Salary: £23,000-£24,000

Hybrid: 12 days working from home per year, subject to Manager agreement, ensuring the offices can remain open for customers.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 09.00 - 17.00

Team social events twice a yearHere's an overview of what you'll be doing:

Continuously developing and managing the events and hospitality calendar, ensuring every detail is taken care of from internal briefs to event setup and take down.
Implementing an internal communications strategy, which will include launching the agency newsletter and preparing a quarterly marketing collateral report.
Executing a comprehensive social media strategy by developing engaging campaigns and capturing captivating visuals.
Supporting the Operations Manager with planning and organising internal events.
Collaborating with the Marketing Manager to effectively manage the marketing budget and monitor incoming marketing invoices.
Assisting business executives with marketing campaigns, ensuring compliance-approved letters and emails are sent with marketing materials.
Maintaining marketing compliance, including keeping the log and folder up to date and ensuring accuracy on the agency website.In addition to these responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to get involved in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required, offering a versatile and exciting role within the marketing team.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have previous Marketing/Social Media/Events experience, excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You should also possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build effective relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
