TeacherActive are recruiting for a passionate, driven Teaching Assistant to join a well-renowned primary school in Cardiff. The school boasts a strong foundation to empower vulnerable learners to allow them to thrive within their school environment. 

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who has experience in working with primary school-aged children. The successful Teaching Assistant will also aid the class teacher in creating a nurturing environment for all children, as well as being able to support children who may be faced with behavioural or academic challenges. Candidates must have experience with Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2 classes, as well as being able to assist children on either a one-to-one basis or when in larger groups.

The successful Teaching Assistant must have: 

At least 6 months experience working with children or a relevant childcare qualification

A passion for driving children to reach their full potential

The ability to support both the class teacher and children alike to a high professional standard
