Product Test Engineer (€30k-€40k DOE)

Charleville, Cork, Ireland - Hybrid

As a Product Test Engineer, you should be conducting manual tests to ensure software created by the developers is fit for purpose. You should perform tests to ensure that the program functions properly, to identify any errors and to investigate customer complaints and any other operational issues.

The ideal candidate should have/be able to:

Experience with JIRA.
Experience with networking (routing/DNS/DHCP etc.).
Hands-on experience with Python.
Test methodologies effectively.
ISTQB Certification.

Your roles & responsibilities include:

Distinguish a test plan for products and new features as well as being able to execute test plans and create test reports.
Proficient in configuring and managing Linux servers like Red-Hat.
Proficient experience and understanding of virtual systems (Windows Server 2008/12/16 or VMWare) and be able to configure and manage test PCs for the validation team.

Experience Requirements include:

2-4 years of manual testing with relevant technologies.

Nice to haves:

Experience working with web-based and mobile industry. (not needed)
