Project Manager - Systems Installations and Refurbishments

About the Role

My client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex technical installations and system refurbishment projects at Heathrow Airport Cargo - Working with global customers

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans

- Manage cross-functional teams and external contractors

- Oversee entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure

- Ensure technical system integration and functionality

- Conduct risk management and compliance reviews

- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and meeting customer expectations

Essential Requirements

- Technical/Engineering background in materials handling or capital equipment

- **Mandatory: Siemens PLC and electrical systems experience**

- **Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification**

- You must have worked on large scale projects

- Detailed knowledge of machinery and electrical directives

- Health and Safety qualification (IOSH or equivalent)

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office/Project

- Capability to manage 5-20 concurrent projects

- Full, clean UK driving

- 5 Years gap free employment due to needing an airside pass

- Clean DBS
