Job Description

A manufacturing company located in Hailsham is looking out for experienced TIG Welder/Fabricator this is a Temporary to Permanent position.

Pay Rate : £15-£18 based on the experience.

Location : Hailsham

Shift Timing : Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities will include:

Effectively manages personal workload, consistently achieving all set targets.
Works collaboratively within the team, building strong relationships with colleagues in the welding department.
Adapts easily to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach.
Recognizes the importance of quality, timelines, and meeting customer requirements.
Actively seeks opportunities for continuous improvement in both quality and time-saving processes.
Completes tasks efficiently and safely, adhering to established guidelines and procedures.
Prioritizes team projects effectively to meet targets, including managing CIT (Call-in Time / Overtime).
Follows and contributes to the 5S program to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Consistently adheres to health and safety regulations and strives to enhance safety standards.
Knowledge or experience in welding and fabrication processes is an asset.
Previous experience in the vacuum industry would be beneficial.
Holds a BTech, HNC, or HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing.
Skilled in TIG welding, ideally with stainless steel and Mu metal.
Possesses established skills in metal fabrication and welding, including experience using precision measuring equipment.
Able to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Comfortable working within deadlines set by the lead technician.
Basic knowledge of turning processes is a plus.
Consistently follows health and safety regulations and works to improve these standards.
