Public Health Evaluator (Market Research Programme Management)
Wales
3-month contract
Day Rate - can be discussed

We are seeking a Public Health Evaluator to join a Health Improvement Programme, delivering a process evaluation to enhance understanding of parenting health information in Wales. Reporting to the Principal Public Health Practitioner and accountable to the Consultant in Public Health, you will work autonomously at pace with guidance from the project team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Design and execute evaluations using qualitative and quantitative methods.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement impactful evaluation programs.
* Lead evaluation reporting, including designing proportionate methodologies and developing funding proposals.
* Provide expert guidance on evaluation practices across the organization.
* Promote robust evaluation approaches internally and externally.

Essential Skills and Experience:
* Expertise in designing, conducting, and analyzing public health evaluations.
* Proficiency with analytical tools (e.g., R, Python, NVivo) and data interpretation.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proven ability to manage projects and resolve challenges effectively.

Desirable Attributes:
* Awareness of parenting health information and public health systems in Wales.
* Knowledge of Welsh Language Legislation.
* Familiarity with behavioural models such as COM-B.

Qualifications:
* PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
* Advanced training in research methodologies.
