Sales and Logistics Administrator

Location: outskirts of Bury Saint Edmunds, IP31

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm & Friday 8:30am – 4pm

Salary: up to £32,000 per annum

Benefits: 21 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays, company enrolled pension scheme with 8% company contribution, death in service cover and annual Christmas party.

We’re looking for a talented Sales & Logistics Administrator to take ownership of critical operations. From managing customer enquiries and driving sales growth to ensuring the smooth handling of imports, exports, and deliveries, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Who are we?

We are Busy Bee Recruitment, an awarding-winning recruitment agency supplying both temporary and permanent staffing solutions throughout the UK to our wonderful client base.

Duties will include:

* Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, identifying parts and creating quotes

* Collaborate with the sales team to increase revenue from spare parts and machines

* Manage the end-to-end order process, from sales to sourcing to delivery

* Oversee logistics for imports and exports, including customs clearances and documentation

* Ensure all shipments are securely packed, correctly labelled, and dispatched on time

* Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to guarantee smooth operations

* Actively engage in credit control, ensuring timely payments from customers

* Assist in the packing of goods in the factory

Skills and Experience Required:

* Engineering / manufacturing industry background

* Proven experience in sales administration and logistics

* Proficiency in Microsoft Package

* Sage 200 knowledge would be an advantage

* Excellent organisational skills to juggle multiple priorities effectively
