A new role just in for an experienced Production Engineering Manager, to work with one of our clients in Greater Manchester.

If you’re an experienced, time served Production Engineer , with excellent project management experience and leadership skills and you’re on the hunt for a new role with a great business, then we want to hear from you.

About you

* Time served with a solid background in Engineering

* HNC/HND in mechanical production engineering

* Lean manufacturing awareness

* Effective project manager, organised with excellent attention to detail whilst managing multiple projects

* You’ll have strong leadership capabilities and solid judgement along with decision making skills

* You’ll be comfortable with European travel every 1-2 months

About the job

* Being a member of the senior leadership team, you’ll be leading a small team of engineers, you’ll have responsibility for supporting the production areas on site supporting programming and tooling requirements.

* Involvement in project work including tooling development, process improvement, capital projects and efficiency improvement initiatives.

* You’ll investigate new production methods and machine technologies.

* Optimize programming routines, define best machines for core components, including what-if scenarios.

* Working closely with engineering, planning, quality and purchasing.

* You’ll lead and drive investigations and work with the Quality department to reduce issues.
