Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is currently seeking a Smart Metering Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is a permanent role, providing the opportunity to work with a longstanding partner of our client. The position involves maintaining and servicing smart metering systems across various locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on smart metering systems
Reacting to breakdowns and emergencies, ensuring swift and efficient resolution
Performing meter moves and changing faulty metres
Ensuring compliance with MOCOPA, MET1, and CCN1 standards
Maintaining accurate records of all maintenance activities and interventions
Working collaboratively with team members and partners to ensure optimal service delivery
Participating in an on-call rota, responding to out-of-hours emergencies

Job Requirements:

Experience in planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and general maintenance tasks
Certification in MOCOPA, MET1, and CCN1
Strong understanding of smart metering systems and associated technology
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and partners
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
