Account Director - Design Agency - Maidstone, Kent.

Pink Giraffe are a talent business and we are hiring on behalf of our client who are a print / POS / design and creative agency. This role is paying from £41,000 - £50,000 / hybrid working with 3 days in the office and 2 days at home. (Please don't apply if you are seeking a higher salary or remote working)

In this role, you'll help us to drive, grow and develop clients accounts (you will not be responsible for the line management of other team members within this role, purely management of the client accounts, its commercial success and growth).

The role focuses heavily on creative, Print, Point-of-Sale stands, packaging and other design. So experience in a creative studio environment is essential.

Account Ownership & Client Relationship Management

• Account Leadership

Own and manage the client experience, acting as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters. Your goal is to deliver a first-class partnership

experience that builds trust and drives client retention.

• Client Communications

Lead top level client discussions for managing account expectations, work pipelines and future service opportunities. Invoice, PO and budget updates.

• Brand Partnership

Develop deep, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience from project initiation to completion. Identify new opportunities

to enhance the client experience and drive account growth.

Collaboration with Senior Design Leads

• Seamless Teamwork

Work hand-in-hand with the Senior Design Leads to ensure creative outputs align with client expectations and deliver an elevated client experience. Together, you

will ensure the smooth delivery of top-tier creative solutions through the power of ‘we not me’.

• Creative Briefings & Pitches

Collaborate in briefings and pitches to deliver creative and innovative solutions to meet that meet client and brand needs.

Account Development & Financial Monitoring:

• Account Growth

Proactively identify opportunities to grow the account by offering additional services or expanding long-term partnership.

• Financial Management

Oversee the financial health of your accounts by managing budgets, tracking project spend and ensuring profitability targets are met.

• Commercial Oversight

Continuously monitor the financial performance of your accounts, ensuring the client experience is aligned with both budget expectations and creative excellence. You’ll ensure accurate invoicing and profitability reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Resource Allocation

Assist with resource allocation and team support creating a seamless client experience. Aid in the management of holiday and sick leave.

• Project Management

CPS and timeline creation and critical milestone and budget tracking. SLA and performance reporting.

• Invoice and Performance Tracking

Provide insights on resource allocation and project scope to ensure accurate quoting and invoicing, while regularly reviewing account performance for financial clarity.
