Neuro Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Band 7 (Rehabilitation)
Exciting opportunity for a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a Rehabilitation Team. You will deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to children and young people in neurorehabilitation, outpatient services, and step-down pathways, promoting participation and functional activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead OT provision for children with complex neurodisabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions.
Provide specialist assessments and therapeutic interventions that are developmentally appropriate and goal-directed.
Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to create individualized therapy plans.
Manage upper limb rehabilitation, including splinting, Botox interventions, and therapy goals.
Contribute to meetings, reports, and transition plans for children/young people.
Support a 24-hour rehabilitation approach and work flexibly to meet service needs.
Essential Skills:
Experience in a complex environment with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
