Dani at Avocet Commercial Careers is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our client's thriving conveyancing team in Plymouth.

Paralegal Responsibilities:
* Support fee earners in managing residential property transactions from start to completion
* Handle client correspondence via telephone, email, and in person
* Prepare and process legal documentation including contracts, transfers, and mortgage deeds
* Conduct property searches and review results
* Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other solicitors
* Maintain accurate case files and update case management systems
* Assist with post-completion matters including SDLT returns and registration
* Monitor deadlines and chase outstanding information from various parties
* Prepare completion statements and bills
* Handle client funds in accordance with SRA regulations
* Provide administrative support to the wider team as required
Paralegal Requirements:
* Previous residential conveyancing experience is essential (minimum 2 years)
* Strong understanding of the conveyancing process and relevant legislation
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
* Professional and client-focused approach
* Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
* Commitment to delivering exceptional client service
* Positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to learn
