Administration Officer

Location: Shropshire

Hourly Pay: £13.47

Hours: 37 weekly hours

Length of placement: 31/12/24

Opus People Solutions is recruiting on behalf of Shropshire County Council for a dedicated Administration Officer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional services. As an Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to the Disabled Children's Team. Your role will involve organizing and coordinating various administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring effective communication within the team and with external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the Disabled Children's Team, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining filing systems.

- Assist with the preparation of reports, documents, and presentations.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children and families receiving services.

- Coordinate and organize events, training sessions, and meetings.

- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from families, professionals, and stakeholders.

- Support the team in project management and service delivery initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a social care or health environment.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

- A compassionate approach and a commitment to supporting children with disabilities and their families.
